Electric car maker Fisker is on the verge of bankruptcy

High inflation and exchange rate crisis also hit automobile manufacturers. While many automobile manufacturers were experiencing difficulties due to economic difficulties, one of them was the electric car manufacturer Fisker.

THEY HAD TO CUT OFF PRODUCTION BEFORE

It was claimed that Fisker, which was struggling with some financial problems and had to suspend production before, could declare bankruptcy at any time. It was learned that the company could not make the required interest payment of approximately $8.4 million on its unsecured bonds.

WILL REQUEST PROTECTION UNDER BANKRUPTCY LAWS

Fisker, one of the biggest competitors of the domestic automobile TOGG, stated that it could not pay its debt and announced that it could request protection under the applicable bankruptcy laws.

SHARES SUDDENLY CRASHED

It was emphasized that the shares of the electric car manufacturer, whose share value hovered around $6 in 2023, had fallen to $0.13.

NO OFFICIAL STATEMENT WAS RECEIVED FROM THE COMPANY

On the other hand, Fisker was producing the Ocean model in partnership with Magna Steyr. Production was suspended for 6 weeks at the brand's facility in Austria. There is no official statement from the company yet.
